SHADY HILL

Trade Architects was invited to partner with Greystar & Strada Architects on the design and construction of a new multi-family & mixed use building in Pittsburgh. This 230 unit complex includes a ground level grocery store and retail spaces as well as upper level landscaped courtyards and generously-sized amenity spaces for the residents. After spending time visiting and researching the surrounding neighborhood, we were inspired by the gilded age glamour of the Carnegie Museums, The Clayton and other early 1900’s Pittsburgh architecture. As the interior architects on this project, our goal was to create modern spaces that emulated the richness and warmth of those neighboring Victorian buildings.
