NOBLE AVENUE ARTS & CRAFTS

This beautiful 1916 Arts & Crafts home had suffered from two previous sub-par renovations that left the major spaces of the ground floor disjointed and closed-off. We worked closely with the clients—a young family that loves to garden, cook and entertain — to resolve the existing floor plan in a way that was more intuitive and better suited to their needs. The renovation involved creating a new kitchen in a central but underutilized part of the house and reprogramming the adjacent living, dining and service spaces around it. Using simple, understated materials, a warm color palette, and minimal shaker detailing, the new renovation speaks to the original charm and character of the house.
